Leftover Peeps?
So the kids got Peeps chicks and bunnies in their easter baskets and i figured they had already eaten their fair share. (btw Eli dipped his bunnies in ketchup--can you say PUKE?) Anyway, I got the idea to make Mommy and Daddy a lil midnight snack. I turned their Peeps into smores, they were so yummy. I got the idea online, I would never have thought of it. Pretty good idea to use them up instead of throwing them out.
i think this will be my last blissfully domestic post for a while, i may do one occasionally or something. i am going to start a new monday project instead.

Notes from Eli
Hi! I asked my mommy what the big deal was with all this blogging stuff. She said I could try it out. So I will introduce myself.
My name is Eli Jude Wilmore and I am a paci-aholic. But I have been clean & sober for 6 and 1/2 days now (well mommy says to scratch out that "clean" part, especially after I ate poop today.)
I just came back home from my Nana's house and boy did Mommy have my room all tidied up! I couldn't find any of my stuff in that toy box but I have finally gotten everything back to the way I like it. If she wants to clean so much, she should clean her own room and leave mine alone!
By the way "mine" is one of my new words. I am also saying "all done" when I finish eating now. I almost forgot I was back home with Mommy last night and I called out for "Nana" and "Poppa" but they were not here.
Mommy had to back the truck up to the house today so Uncle Drew and Mr. Turkey could unload something for her. I got to pretend I was driving and I beep-beeped the horn and turned on the wipers. Then Mommy was pulling the truck back into the driveway and since it wasn't far, she let me sit in her lap. But I put the truck in neutral while she was trying to go. So from now on, it's the backseat for me. Well, until I get my learner's permit anyway.
Ok, signing off for now. (Hey, I like this blogging stuff, it's pretty cool!)
xxx ooo
Love, Eli

Working on something new...
I have decided to create a small message board for all my coupon mom friends. Surprise, surprise, the site is gonna be PINK! lol. When it is ready, I will post the link here so you can all join it!
For My Brother
What's wrong, Rachel Ray hasn't shown you how to make these??
Stuffed Bell Peppers
Cut off tops of 4 medium green peppers; remove seeds and membrane.
Precook green peppers in boiling salt water about 5 minutes; drain.
Cook 1 pound of ground beef (with seasonings you like) and 1/3 cup chopped onion till meat is lightly browned. Add one 1 pound can tomatoes (i just use a small can of tomato sauce) 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup uncooked rice. (I add in tony's and garlic.)
Cover and simmer till rice is tender, about 15 minutes. Stir in about a cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Stuff peppers and stand them upright in a baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F. for about 20 to 25 minutes (at the last 10 minutes or so, cover with more cheese) and voila!

FART
eli has a new word! well he said it the other day when HE farted (and several times since). i couldn't help but laugh at the time. and you know how when you laugh they keep doing it over and over til it's not funny anymore? today in a store there was this lady (i *think* it was just her shoe making a noise) and eli says "FART!" i hurried and high tailed it down another aisle, i wanted to get away from her asap. i was like "don'tyoudaresaythatevergaindoyouhearme?" lol !!!!!!!!!!
and then yesterday he ripped a long/loud one and pointed to the door and said "Dada?" lol, i just had to text him and let him know his son was blaming him.

Garage sale success
So I participated in a Doyle family garage sale this weekend and it was a success! I left there with $192 and some change and a brand new wireless router that my brother sold me for $10! I certainly didn't want to haul all the leftovers back to my house so I donated it to a women's shelter and Goodwill. I do have a small "starter box" for another garage sale, and I'm going to make it my goal to add a couple things to the box every week. I figure it will be a good way to declutter the house!
Toddler Muscle Shirts
This weekend we had a garage sale. As I was going through my toddler's clothes I thought what a shame it was that he had clothes he'd never worn but they were out of season now. I'm sure this happens all too often. I thought of the perfect solution! I got rid of the stuff that was absolutely too small, but I took his 2T long sleeve shirts (that were too big for him when it was cold but fit him perfectly now that it is hot, go figure...) and I cut the sleeves off to make them into muscle shirts. His daddy does this with lots of t-shirts so now they can dress alike! Now he has seven more shirts to wear this summer that otherwise would have gone in the garage sale box!
Here are a couple of them:
